PRODUCTION
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules and work breakdown structures (WBS) for ship newbuilding projects.
- Coordinate with project, engineering, procurement, and yard teams to align planning with actual production activities.
- Monitor production progress, identify delays or deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
- Analyze capacity planning and resource allocation to ensure project timelines are achievable.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to support project reviews and decision-making.
- Ensure that materials, equipment, and manpower are available in line with the production schedule.
- Support implementation of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Interface with shipyard production departments to coordinate sequencing and workflow.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, utilization, and schedule adherence.
