Responsibilities

  • Perform surface preparation such as sanding, grinding, cleaning, and smoothing hull and structural areas.
  • Apply paints, coatings, varnish, fillers, sealants, and protective layers according to marine standards.
  • Conduct touch-ups, polishing, and final detailing on interior and exterior vessel surfaces.
  • Assist in the installation and alignment of finishing components such as panels, trims, fixtures, and fittings.
  • Inspect completed work for defects and perform corrective actions as needed.
  • Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and finishing work instructions.
  • Ensure all finishing activities comply with shipbuilding standards and safety regulations.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with production, QA, and engineering teams for coordinated workflow.
